The Master Rapper Francis M.

It was really a sad day yesterday after I got the news that Francis Magalona passed away. I know it's kinda weird that I was affected of the news when he didn't even know who I am. Maybe because Kiko has always been a part of my life and all of other Filipinos. I grew up idolizing the way he raps. I grew up listening and singing to his songs. Every words or lyrics of his songs is all about being positive and being patriotic. He was so proud to be a Filipino. From the song "Mga Kakabayan ko", "Watawat" to ""Tayo'y mga Pinoy", those songs are all about us Filipinos, telling us to stand up straight and be proud of being a Filipino. He even started a clothing line branded as "3 stars and a sun" which actually represents the Philppines National Flag.
Eventhough he's gone, I am really sure that he would always be in our hearts. Remembering him as someone who inspired us not to give up and be proud of what we are in this Kaleidoscope world. You will surely be missed, IDOL...

Eraserheads Reunion - for one last time!!!

On March 7, 2009, a big concert will be held at Mall of Asia. This is actually referred to as the biggest concert of this year. All Pinoy alternative fanatics would surely be present on that day. Because there would be no Pinoy rock without the E'Heads, the greatest Pinoy Alternative band of all time which is formed by Ely Buendia, Raymund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro.
If I only have the money for the tickets and time, I would definitely watch this concert even if the location is really far from where I live. It's going to be worth the sacrifice that you would be making since this is going to be part of the Philippine Music history. This would be their last reunion since the Lead Vocalist( Ely Buendia ) already signed the contract saying it would be the last time they would perform together here in the Philippines for 10 years. So it is actually a disappointment for me that I wouldn't be able to watch their biggest concert. But then again, I am still lucky or proud to be part of the generation were Eraserheads became a legend. The Beatles of the Philippines. I just hope that there will come a time that anothere Pinoy Band wouldbe able to achieve what eraserheads have achieved.

Got my BayanTel DSL connection...

I am so happy because I have now my own DSL connection. That means I would be able to check my blogs everyday. I will be blogging everyday starting today. Like it or not, you would be seeing a lot of blogs from me.
BayanTel's DSL connection's really fast. I didn't expect that it could be like this fast. The installation process was really quick. I just applied for a connection yesterday and got it today. Kudos to BayanTel...
